Invoicing and Payments

Payment Methods

It’s imperative to us that everybody gets paid what their due, however there are hundreds of ways to process payments online these days that if we are unfamiliar with can cause complications, so we have streamlined it down to 3 processes/apps we use:

1) UK to UK bank transfer (not international bank transfer)

2) Wise.com – If you go to https://wise.com and set up an account, you can add your bank details there etc. so you can get paid, then I think you just need to send us your email address.

3) Paypal – For more information on invoicing, check here.

What payment methods we don’t like

Upwork, the problem here is, they split 1x job into 2-8 lines in a spreadsheet with refunds, escrow, deposits it all gets so bad at the end of the year when we have to make a big spreadsheet to show our accountant

International bank transfer, Sometimes the bank loses the money for literally 3 months (it happened to us before) also its expensive, costs like £25 and also takes so much time I have to call the bank if things go wrong etc.

Invoicing

Once you have finished your deliverable with us, feel free to invoice tom@bigmancgi.com with your invoice

Our company name: BIG MAN LIMITED
Address: Concorde House, 18 Margaret Street, Brighton, East Sussex, United Kingdom, BN2 1TS

Bigman’s company registration number is 07218332

Invoice formatting

Did you never send an invoice before? If you google ‘invoice template’ you’ll see some ideas for template.

Payment Terms

Our payment terms are 30 days after you deliver the work.

Often we can pay you within 1-2 days if we have good cashflow on the project, but sometimes we need to wait for client payments, or we are just very busy, so we ask for a maximum of 30 days between when the work is finished and when we pay you.
